The Tower Suite served as our base of operations during our recent holiday getaway to Yellow Springs. !Score! It was a great choice for us – on all counts. Initially, we were a little concerned four adults would find the suite a bit small, but we quickly discovered every detail had been thoughtfully considered and we were all quite comfortable. The Tower Suite was perfect for my husband and me, my son and his wife. We could easily walk downtown, to the brewery, or to the trails. Great location, great accommodations. We highly recommend!
I appreciate that you asked in an email for my feedback. We loved the suite! It was really clean, beautifully decorated, and I liked the kitchen corner! The use of space was really great--the reading nook, storage, etc.
I did have a suggestion. I know you would have no way to know this, but Michael and I are staunch non smokers. I think having your non smoking policy listed on the website as well as the sign in the suite is sufficient--no need to mention it in an email, too. Also, maybe have some kind of little sign where people staying in each suite should park? It just felt a bit unwelcoming to get the parking information in an email right before we arrived, including our car could be towed. Of course, we didn't want that to happen, but it didn't feel friendly. These are minor quibbles, but I thought I would mention it since you asked.
We stayed in the Master Suite for two nights. Everything was extremely clean and very well taken care of. This is a great place to stay especially if you like to walk to shops, restaurants, etc.

We've visited Yellow Springs annually for a good many years, but our last two years staying at Jailhouse Suites, were the most easeful and enjoyable. Being "in town" is a huge perk with easy walking to shops, restaurants, and hike-bike trail. We've stayed both times at the Union Cottage Studio Suite. Everything you could possibly need is right there, efficiently organized, consciously decorated and very clean. Soft and firmer pillows are both available, which is very nice. We also like having the full kitchen, just because, although with all the great nearby restaurants, the most we need to do is heat up leftovers, make some tea, or have a bowl of fresh berries for breakfast. Filtered water is available at the kitchen sink, so no need to buy bottled water. The YS Saturday morning Farmers' Market is right around the corner, and I was able to buy fresh organic veggies, store in the fridge, and take home to enjoy a few days later. On our last morning, we used the coupon for breakfast at Williams Eatery. Yum! Don't pass on this one. We managed to dodge raindrops and enjoy some hiking at nearby John Bryan and Glen Helen. All in all, an enjoyable weekend in Yellow Springs despite the unseasonably cool and soggy weather on Saturday.

We visited you May 29-May 31...family members in both Union Cottage Suites and in Loft Suite. All were super clean, very nicely decorated, with everything we needed. I think I want to live there. All family loved YS...so friendly, walkable. Good food, good shops, good people. Beautiful neighborhoods and hiding, biking..what more for a get away? Highly recommend this spot...and Bob, thanks for our golf cart tour of YS when we were checking things out for the family reunion. That kindness helped cinch the deal.....kathleen
My sister and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was her first time there and she was very happy with the Master Suite. The newly added fireplace is a very nice addition. I stayed in the Studio Suite for the first time and found it very comfortable and as inviting as the neighboring suite.
We traveled to your area for a visit with my brother who is recently home from the hospital and lives in Kettering and used to live in Yellow Springs. We could only stay for one night due to prior commitments but we hope to return in May or June for at least a couple nights.
Question – where is the DVD player?
Thank you Bob for our wonderful stay! We loved every minute of it. The Tower Suite was amazing and exceeded our expectations! Up to date furniture, and appliances.. Fully stocked with everything you would need. We look forward to returning!
We really enjoyed visiting Yellow Springs and our stay at Jailhouse Suites was a nice change from staying at a hotel/motel. Ann and I appreciated the extra little touches like the coffee and coffee maker, mini-refridgerator, large TV with cable, shower and well stocked towel shelf. Everything was super clean and all the lights and appliances worked perfectly.
We didn't use the outside deck as the weather wasn't always agreeable, but thought it would be nice on a warm summer evening.
Jailhouse Suites is located in a typical small town neighborhood, but is only a few blocks from several restaurants, bars and shopping and only a couple miles from the Glen Hellen Nature Preserve and John Bryan State Park.
We would stay there again and recommend it.

Thank you Bob for the wonderful accommodations in the Master Suite. The suite was cozy, clean and stocked just right. We loved several of the appointments you have chosen.
It was great to have everything in walking distance to town.
We will recommend Jailhouse Suite's to anyone coming to Yellow Springs.
Good Luck as you continue to grow.
